The Ancient Romans were a people who's system relied upon the poor taking bread from the wealthy everyday. Everyday poor Romans waited in line at a rich persons home for an allotment of food in exchange for a vote in an election.
The Romans built colosseum where torture & battle occurred to entertain the masses. The Romans took their free bread & watched people get murdered by lions all day.
In those days nobody could hurt a Roman. They were very important. Their Citizenship gave them power all over the world.
The Romans also had pipes slowly turning them insane as the water was tainted.
The Romans were fed, happy, entertained, trusting in rich leaders who provided everything, going retarded from lead in pipes & sitting in coliseums when invaders stormed their gates.
They yelled, "The barbarians are at the gates".
People fell into shock.
Everything seemed fine.
Everyone had bread.
The people who paid for votes looked fat & well.
The city fell & those who believed they were too superior to ever crumble fell like wheat.
In modern America only half of us work.
We depend upon the people we vote in to make sure money is taken from somewhere & given to them.
People flood into streets on a designated day, police show up & a violent show is given to us.
Not at a coliseum but on our TV's & social media. We join in. We watch our street theatre orchestrated to keep us distracted as our society crumbles & falls into decline.
We eat horrible food that makes us sick & because we don't eat right people are going insane slowly.
We are in the exact same position as Rome as society repeats itself.
Insanity can spread & our constant insanity is causing our society to rot from w/in as people tear each other apart.
We are one generation from being slaves.
Real slaves.
In Venezuela Amnesty International confirms people are forced into work camps & are violating civil rights.
Venezuela used to be rich & they have resources.
If it can happen in Venezuela it can happen here.
We must stop seeing each other as barbarians at the gate & see each other as people if we want to stop the decline of civilization.
